German photographer Jan Scheffler has travelled since more than twenty years to Northern Europe, especially to Iceland, Norway, and Finland for his photographic work. The silence and the light in these landscapes almost untouched by man have drawn him back there again and again. This exhibition held in November 2019 at the Forum am Schillerplatz, KLV Art Projects, Vienna is the first retrospective of his work and accompanies the launch of the book 89 Light, published by Hatje Cantz with a text from Christiane Stahl.
